1. Who we are
Leadcare Nursing (“Leadcare”, “we”, “us”) operates this training booking portal and is the data controller for the personal information collected through it.
2. What we collect
When you book a course we collect your name, email address and phone number, together with details of the course you booked and the status of your booking and payment. We do not collect or store your card details — payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to manage your booking: to confirm your place, take payment where a fee applies, send you booking and reminder emails, keep an attendance register, track certificates, and process any refund you are entitled to. Our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you.
4. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary information with the service providers who help us run the portal: Stripe (to process payments and refunds) and our email delivery provider (to send booking emails). We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
5. How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as needed to run the training programme and meet our legal and accounting obligations, and are then deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct or delete it, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise your rights, contact Leadcare using the details on your booking confirmation email.
7. Cookies
The portal uses only essential cookies — for example, to remember that you have entered the password for a staff-only course. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
